Dora and the river of sprite

 

Dora when out to find a lovely river it had shiny clear water that tasted like sprite it had green and blue vines and flowers that hung from head to toe. She thought that if she found it she could use the water to hypnotize and enslave people to let her take over the world. 

But there was something standing in her way swipe'r the fox he had bright orange skin a baby blue mask and a big red sward he was the hero in the town he set off to stop Dora wile he still could.

Dora was off she past a pen of goats  "Om G its my brothers and sisters from the country I have to say HeLLo ¨  Dora had just stooped off at the pub so she was a little dizzy *Dora smashes into the goat pen gate all the goats run over Dora* "help Me " 

swipe-r passed Dora and the goats and headed to the river. Dora woke up and stomped to swipe-r and said in a deep loud voice "SWIPE'R NO SWIPING" and swipe'r got teleport'ed. But it wasn't bad for swipe'r it was good he got teleport'ed to the RIVER Ha DORA.

Dora got closer to the river swipe'r got to the river and picked up the water and threw it in Dora's face she stopped for a second and realized the water couldn't hypnotize people and never came back again because she was in jail THE END.

Double Decker bus

 In the school holidays i flew up to Auckland to see my grandma and granddad. We went to go to the double Decker bus to get to my grandparents home.

 We went to get the bus tickets and scan them on this special machine. We went up to the very top of the bus and nobody was up there so i could pick any seat i wanted. I picked to sit at the front were there was a big window i could see everything. We went passed the sky tower in the city and the playground next to the beach. 

When we stopped i put on my roller-blades to skate up to my grandparents house. i haven't learnt how to stop yet and I rolled down the pathway and my grandma had to come chase me.

Cats who needs them?

                                                     I think cats should still be in NZ because they 

                                                              are good pets, all you need to do 

                                                    is feed them and take them to vets. I know they 

                                                    kill a lot of native birds but its only to make shore 

                                                  there not hungry.  I think some people need cats for the

                                                 comfort. not everyone needs them but some people

Heat wave town

A jaguar stalked some travellers that came from a horse with a great big hump. The vultures flew high in the sky Something miraculous was happening in heat wave town. all creatures great and small were gathering waiting to see what the travelers were doing. 

they walked up to the monkey kings cave and knocked on the door then... 1 2 3 4 baboons jumped out with RAZER SHARP CLAWS  they all said "WHO ARE YOU?" in a deep but loud voice. 

They were black and white with blue bottoms they have red scarfs and one of the kings knight badges. the travellers said nothing the baboons put them in bags and took them to the royal jail. 

They were chucked in the rustiest and dirtiest jail cell they had witch was a pretty nice cell. it had a private bathroom a duck feather bed and even a shelf filled with food. But that was the kings lest favourite cell, the others are much more better. 

The travellers still said absolutely nothing, the monkey king was getting mad he needed answers. The monkey king threaten to put them in a much worse cell if they didn't answer him.That's when they spoke, "we come in peace we just want to know were we are "  the monkey king stormed and left them to rot.

feel:tomato sause driping down my arm,

I see rainbow flashing lights coming from the mall as I walk past a little car ride only 1$. HUGE green palm trees wave side to side as I come into the entrance of the mall. Little ghosts hanging up from the roof give me a big spook. 

Kids screaming like a cat that just got all its fur cut off, made me wanna rip my ear drums out. I hear cash registrars chinging from every shop. Karen's yelling "I want my MONEY BACK!!!". The boiling oil makes the sound of deep friend chips sizzling its got my tummy rumbling.

The beef pattys are making my taste buds explode. The chicken nuggies crumbling in my mouth, as I swallow them. The cotton candy is as sweet as a suger cotted apple.

I can smell the fresh meat pattys as I go past. Perfume catches my nose as i walk in to bed bath and beond. The sizzling bath bombs smell like beautiful lavendar.

🤡fairground story🥳

 I could see the bright flashing lights from a mile away, getting closer and closer. Stabbing rainbow lights were blinding me as I was heading towards the fairground. The glowing pink smoke coloured the night sky, the giant ferris wheel spinning round and round. The sky was purple with a tint of pink. As I arrived I saw the excitement on peoples’ faces. Mum says “stay close” As we passed the carnies. I head towards the ferris wheel, multiple colours reflect in my eyes. 

                                                                              

Pumping carnival music soothes my ear drums. The movement from the rides makes a loud whirring sound. I could hear muffled chatter in the huge crowd, as joyful screams came from the ferris wheel as I headed over. 

Soft seats of the sturdy metal ferris wheel.  Adrenaline pumping through my body as we reached the end of the ride. Wind softly brushes against my face. Excitement running through my head as we head to the food stands.

The array of different foods smelled so delicious, until the stinky farm animals ruined. Fresh hot dog just pulled from the oven. buttery popcorn popping in my mouth “pop pop”. 

My mouth watering as I pass fresh sizzled sausages on a hotplate. A swell of candy floss flavor as it melts in my mouth. Salty golden chips deep fried just right. Fizzy popping candy exploding in my mouth.

Two young kids sitting on the wing of a shiny steel plane reflecting into the deep blue top of the plane. Two silver jets right behind them blowing fresh air out. 

Below them is a big river of clouds the softest and fluffiest you can find so white like a newborn lamb that's been covered in bubbles. 

As two cheerful kids laugh and play the engine starts to roar like a tiger that just found its pray. The plane tilted and down when the kids into the clouds  and black...

one opens there eyes to see the other boy holding onto one of the jets they get up on top of the jet and get back on the wing they hold onto the window frames and one of them shouts... look down as he looks down the other one pushes him down and he get sucked into the jet...

Minecraft bring your name to life...

 For the past three weeks we have been doing bring my name to life on minecraft education for CRT with Elizabeth. We were in creative mode and we used lots of different blocks my main blocks were different shades of blue glass and glow stone. It was hard to do my (s) and in the end it looked a little like a (5) but you could understand it was a (s). I put the glow stone down to make my name stand out in the dark. It was 3 blocks thick and I put a box around it and a clear glass cover. I made a crown out of glow stone and put it on the top of the box. I think I should have used less glow stone. have you made your name in minecraft?

what bacteria is in different foods (poster)

For inquiry I decided I wanted to learn what bacteria is in foods. I worked with Azzy we researched in books and online. First we put our research on a google slide, then we decided to move it onto a poster. This is some of the stuff we found out.

Grandmas house

It was night a dark gloomy night. I went to my grandmas house she lives were the pants don't grow, were the light never shines, were the birds don't ever sing but the nasty crackle from the crows. Some say her house is alive they call it Frankenstein castle. I followed the dead pathway to my grandmas House. I walked inside and the minute I took a step in the house started to rumble an shake and it I flew into the air and got bowled out...

We were supposed to identify what blog comment was bad and good. The green ones are good the red ones are bad here is a comic I made with comix.

I dived into the deep blue sea, i sunk and sunk till i reached the sandy ground. The first thing that cought my eye was a a rusty steal boat the sails were torn apart holes shot in the bottom. there was a big octopus with pink skin. I went to touch it but it turned yellow and ran away as fast as it could. The coral was yellow,pink,orange, and green. The jelly fish glowed like glow sticks. The sharks didn't look so friendly with there pointy sharp grin but the frolicking fishes were definitely friendly and kind. The dolphins waved a little hello with there tail, but then the hammer heads came crashing. in. I wanted to dance with the octopus but the real mission was to find the hidden treasure i peeked in the creaky old boat and there it was siting laying on a case a BIG treasure chest waiting to be oped

First we got a long piece of paper and then we started to tape a tiny cardboard

Once a man decided to move into a cottage near a forest. He had two dogs one was a o rangy yellowy color the other one was white and fluffy. He went to look for something to make dog food in. After hours of searching he found a tire. He pour water in the tire me put bacon,mince,steak, and sausages then it started to smoke "what i haven't even cooked it yet" he said and then poof. He slowly looked in the tire to find the dog food cooked shaped and everything. He picked some up and gave it to his dog he grew 5 feet "a magic tire" he shouted from now on he always uses that tire for dog food. Now his dogs are 55 feet all thanks to the tire.

For our bacteria learning we dedicated to grow some of our own bacteria. This is a container full of agar-gel. I got some bacteria off the toilet door handle now we wait for 2 days to see the bacteria.

had to get others Before British came to New Zealand the main language was Maori. When the British
to translate when trading. But as more English people came to New Zealand the more Maori language died out. Soon people were punished for speaking Maori. Some were punished for no reason. in schools they were not allowed to teach or speak Maori language if they did they
would get beaten. In the 21 century only 125,000 Maori could speak Maori.


~MY OPINION~
i think that it was good that Maori learned English but it was not good that they got punished for saying there own language

what happens when you combine lemon,baking-soda,dish liquid,
                                 and food coloring?
the lemon is a acid and the baking soda is alkaline and when mixed together to form a reaction. they mixture fizzes. the dish liquid causes bubbles to form and stay longer. we poked with the ice cream stick and it fizzed even MORE. my buddy Kaylee and me cut the lemon in half and put some food coloring on and then some dish wash and took a photo then we sprinkled some baking soda on and nothing happens so we sat back down with our teacher  she pocked it with a stick and boom beautiful colors went every were we try with ours it worked.

 for part of our growing, Urmi's were looking at bacteria helps us we made fake snot it was pretty disgusting 

 instructions 

materials:

• 2 tea spoons gelatin.
• Hot water.
• 1/4 cup glucose syrup.
• Green food coloring.
• 2 bowls.
• Spoon.  

method

1. Get bowl and put hot water in.
2. Then add 2 tea spoons of gelatin in the bowl stir till dissolved.  
3. Get the other bowl and put 1/4 cup of glucose syrup in.
4. Put in a few drops of green color.
5. Add a tiny bit of the gelatin mix to the syrup at a time.
6. Keep stiring till nice and thick.

Queens-town snow farm vist

Me and my cousins went to the snow farm in Queens-town we had to go up huge mountains in our car half way up we had to stop there was a big sign that said only vehicles with chains may go any further up the mountains my uncle had to come and get me and my family when we got there we payed !150! bucks to go skiing i tried to go up this hill but had a fib because i couldn't get back down i liked the snow tubes way-more you got to ride down the hills in a big rubber circle and then we went home.

One day a boy was walking in a park. He saw a watch he liked the look of it so he put it on. When he got home "ouch" he started itching himself "ah" he itched harder he when to the bath room to see what was rong with him. When he took one look in the mirror *gasp he saw that his skin was covered in spiky scales two wings pop'ed out from his back sharp claws grew from his finger tips his skin turned red and wrinkly his eyes glowed yellow. He stumbled down stairs and flew away what is happening to ME.

    for task-master we had to transport a ball in to a bucket with a Metal ring and string. We had to do it with a little ball a tense ball A plastic egg and a FOOT BALL. The challenging part was when We had to do the foot ball it keeps falling out of the strings. My Team Learn from there mistakes and keeps going even if they Failed. I was happy with how we ended even if we Didn't complete the task.

For my growing grid Sophie/me Maea, Ava and Mikaela have been creating a lip sync/ dance. We are trying to make a video and are editing the dance/lip sync and with our mistakes were making bloopers. We are doing a lip sync/dance because its something we are all good at. I feel like we should keep going higher because I think we can do better. I'm really happy with this group, we work together really well. Next we are going to publish the video.
