 THE First Polynesians To New Zealand


The Polynesians first came from hawaiki in the south pacific. They came to new Zealand between 1320-1350. They traveled in wakas-canoes and followed the stars and sailed on the sea to get to new Zealand. They came to new Zealand to explore the new Island.

The moari gave food and wheat to NZ when the traveled there. The Europeans gave bigger and better plants to NZ when they traveled there.  Moari and Europeans both gave plants and food to NZ when they traveled there. The moari traveled to NZ in wakas and canoes and followed the stars. The Europeans traveled to NZ in big boats and ships. Maori came from Polynesia in hawaiki, Europeans came from Europe, They both came to NZ.
