😧Raft making ⛵

 As a team challenge we had to make a raft using...

• little logs of driftwood (for the base of the raft)
• string (to hold it together)
• and a plastic bag (for the sail)

my team was Hunter, Julian, Aria, AND ME!!!. I was away for most of the making of the raft because I was at choir. When I got back we had to attach the sail frames to the raft using string i rapped the string around the logs to make them stick together. 

When we finished we had to ask a teacher for three plastic toys to stick on our raft to try and make our boat float in the pool with little people on it. In the end it sunk but i was happy with it.

The perfect day (remake)

The perfect day for horse riding Two energetic playful ponies scatter out of two different horse pens. As both of them get closer together then... a BIG launch into a snuggly nuzzle. But then they smash against the freezing cold wet grass. soft cozy mane flows with a nice cold breeze as they get back up

One horse with swirl light caramel coloured fur that trit trots when they walk. One horse with bold black fur that shrugs and pouts when they walk. They are best friend but they don't see each other that much.

 Silky cotton fur like a brand new blanket just for you. Furry fuzzy strait tails swishing with the grass that smells like loads of dripping wet animals, The smell of the barn is dusty dirty stinky barn full of hay and horse dung, The grass smells like wet dogs or bugs.

The two horses ran and jumped over the crooked dirty wooden fences and over the wet sloppy mud to the road to escape from the farm. The ponies scatter on four hooves along the road dodging every car in sight they make sure nothing in there way. 

As the ran they saw a cave a dark small little cave were they could live in peace were nobody could find them. They slept on the cold hard ground but there fur was so warm and cozy they weren't cold at all. There they were safe from that old farmer that keeps them away from each other.

 -GYMNASTICS-

for gymnastics we had 4 rotations on things to do. 

The first rotation is the trapoliens were we jump on the tramp 5 times and then do something (a move or pose) into the foam pit. Every time you change the movement.

the second rotation is the cartwheel and handstand station were there is boxes that you have to lean on to move away from slowly to do a handstand. And also a box where you put your hands to cartwheel over.

the third rotation is the bars were you hand on a bar and swing for ten seconds, then you go to a metal bar were you just hang for ten seconds, and the bungeys were you put your legs in the bungee and swing with your bottom in the air.

the fourth rotation is the beams were there are 3 beams you start at the closest to the ground beam and go up and up until you at the 3rd on then you restart.

my favorite thing was the cartwheel and handstand station because the teacher helped us and made sure we new what to do.

The Perfect Day

THE PERFECT DAY-

The perfect day for horse riding a soft warm breeze, the birds were chirping, The sun shining in their eyes, grass was swishing all over the place. 

Two energetic ponies running along the fresh green tasty grass as there mane flows in the air. They both stop with perfect timing to give each other a nice cuddly nussle. One light pretty pony with a caramel fur and one dark mysterious pony with dark black fur. 

My Self-Portrait

 

                       This is my self-PORTRAIT ⬆️⬆️⬆️ 

In my kaiawhina group we had to do a self-portrait. 
 What we had to do: First you take a picture of yourself with Sharon. Next we cut our pictures in half and drew the other side. Then we made a background and coloured it in. After that we had to blog it and then we were done. The hardest part was sketching the face out because we had to make sure the face looked the same. The easiest part to do was colouring it in because you just had to colour the different parts. In the end I was very happy with how it looked like because of the expression it was showing. 

Quick write (olympic swimmers)

 

The two swimmers race along the yellow lines in the deep crystal waters. Two red and black swimming caps float above the water as the racers kick there way to the end. The bubbles splash from there bodys so quickly you didn't even know they were there. the red cap slowly heads in the lead but the black cap won't let her win that easily. The black cap races towards the finish line making a hard victory for his team.

Monday Mashup (Tallest Tower)

 For Monday mashup I signed up for MAKE DO AND HAVE FUN with Urmi.

This is my group Hebe, Brooke, Niya, Holley, and ME↓

What we had to do: First we had to make a really tall tower that was made from two stacks of cups and ice block sticks a pile of small and big ones. It has to be able to hold a plastic dinosaur at the top. We had to do it Two times!

In the 1st round we didn't do so much teamwork we were fighting a lot because our tower kept knocking down. In the end we were told to freeze but our team didn't listen and our tower fell down so we failed.

  But in the 2nd round we realized what we had to do and we worked together. We found out a idea of were we put some small sticks under the cups to keep them stable.

Then at the very end we had to place the plastic dinosaur onto the cup tower. It was really hard because it was wobbling and falling. We got it onto the tower in the end And even though our tower wasn't the tallest we were still happy with it.

boxy mart the best super market

BOXY MART

Boxy mart is a super market for boxes. At boxy mart you can heat up food you buy from boxy mart in special microwaves for that food. There are snack, breakfast, lunch, and dinner ails in boxy mart. There are also sanitizer and masks an the front door (please wear them/wash them). There is a box cat cafe in the store for all the box cat lovers. There are also hot meals at the cashier like hot chips hot pizza and hot buns. There is also a noodle stand with hot water and a noodle topping stand. There are some arrows pointing to every station showing the way to the ails.

Compound Words

                    Compound words are 2 word put together to make 1 word like foot and ball make football.

                    But if you put do and nut together to make don't that doesn't work that is different.

the rat-caters

 The three rat-caters with denim jackets and little brown hats. One fuzzy mice was blind and the other mice helped him. They are in a little wood house with a brick chimney. They were getting hungry so they had to go outside in the cold dripping rain. They didn't realize that it was raining because it was so bright and warm in there house. The water started to rise above there knees the wind made a scary howl. Poor blind mice was so scared. A huge cat jumped out of a broken gate Screeching its claws against the hard floor. It threw the blind mice in a ditch leaving him without the other mice and ran away.The blind mice cried and cried it had nowhere to go cold hungry and alone. The sun came up as his smile went down.

Quick Write (the battle of the soldiers)

BANG! goes the drums while the army marches to the battle ground. Thump thump thump goes the ground as the soldiers walk up with their swords and shields. Red fuzzy walls on their helmets and a shiny silver armor. They looked all angry and grumpy there pout dropped down to the ground they looked mean. The other soldiers were shaking in their shoes  but they had the element of surprise. In the matter of seconds a fuzzy pink cat popped out of one of the soldiers armor. Then cats with different colors and shapes and patterns popped out of there armor. The mean soldiers retreated and ran away.
